Loaded Potatoes in the Mountaineer Food Bank Truck

The teaming of Empty Bowls Monongalia along with Cheat Lake and Buckhannon Rotary Clubs working with the Davis Farm in Masontown, WV resulted in 8000 lbs of potatoes being donated to the Mountaineer Food Bank in Gassaway , WV. These potatoes will be distributed to feeding programs and pantries throughout the State of West Virginia. This is a perfect example of network coordination  between four great organizations resulting in 4 tons of potatoes from the Davis Farm being donated to feeding food insecure children and neighbors in our very own communities. Thanks to the folks at the Davis Farm for their generous contribution and Chad Morrison of the Food Bank for transporting the potatoes.
